| Video Discription | Dr. Jonathan Lebowitz at the Long Island Gynecomastia Center in Huntington, Long Island helps males of all ages with Gynecomastia via excision and body contouring with Laser Smart Liposuction. This video shows Dr. Lebowitz performing Laser Smart Liposuction on the patient by inconspicuously placing incisions to first introduce a dilute anesthetic, local anesthesia into the chest and upper armsregion. He then uses a Smart Liposuction Triplex laser through the small discreet openings to first gently melt and liquefy the unwanted chest fat, followed by a tightening of the skin by using a blend of three different laser wave lengths. Lastly, you’ll see him use cannulas to gently aspirate and remove the liquefied unwanted fat, leaving the patient with a contoured, sculpted chest! After the Laser Smart Liposuction, Dr. Lebowitz performs the Gynecomastia glandular excision while removing just enough of the gynecomastia to prevent a caved in, dented or uneven finished appearance. After removal of the gland, Dr. Lebowitz reduces the dead space using his specialized “waffle weaving”, “quilting stitches” and small drains to prevent fluid from collecting to help with the healing process. The entire procedure was performed under local anesthesia, within Dr. Lebowitz’s private, clean and comfortable operating room. You can see that the patient is awake during the entire procedure, fully relaxed with no pain. The entire surgery can take 1-3 hours to perform, depending if the patient requires just an excision, Laser Smart Liposuction or a combination of both procedures, and if the patient has gynecomastia on one side (unilateral) vs. both sides (bilateral). The final results of this patients Gynecomastia Laser Smart Liposuction and glandular excision procedure are permanent, the fat and gland does not return and the chest skin will continue to tighten and improve over a 6-to-12 month time period.
