| Video Discription | This is the remarkable case of a 26 year-old patient that was found in coma at his apartment. Imaging revealed presence of a giant mass compatible with craniopharyngioma and causing obstructive hydrocephalus. He underwent placement of bilateral EVDs and endoscopic endonasal surgery 72 hours later when his cognition had improved. Surgery was very successful, with complete tumor resection, visual and cognitive normalization and no complications other than panhypopituitarism in spite of stalk preservation. Patient went back to his previous technical job 3 months after surgery. |
