| Video Discription | This intraoperative video demonstrates dissection and clipping of a left internal carotid artery (ICA) blister aneurysm. After placing a temporary clip on the proximal ICA, the aneurysm ruptured during permanent clip application. The involved ICA segment was trapped with additional temporary clips on the distal ICA and posterior communicating artery (PCoA). The rupture site was inspected and clip -reconstructed with a right angle and multiple vertical stacked clips. This video has been taken from "Blister Aneurysms of the Internal Carotid Artery: Microsurgical Results and Management Strategy," a manuscript that can be read in a future issue of NEUROSURGERY.
