| Video Discription | 2 minutes video of Pruitt-Inahara Shunting during CCA-ICA bypass for a 7cm long lesion (above 80% stenotic) starting in left CCA 1 cm above clavicle ending in ICA 2 cm distally to carotid bifurcation. Distal exposure of ICA was obtained after division of digastric muscle and occipital artery. Near occluded ECA was ligated and carotid arteriotomy was started through its ostium to insert the shunt with graft previously loaded on distal branch. |
