| Video Discription | The case is a Robotic Assisted Completion Radical Cholecystectomy for a patient with a T2N0 gallbladder cancer. This is a 70-year-old gentleman who had a history of an APR with an end colostomy who later presented with acute chronic cholecystitis. He underwent an elective cholecystectomy with another surgeon and was found to have an incidental finding of a T2 gallbladder cancer. Further staging revealed no evidence of metastatic disease and recommended a completion radical cholecystectomy which involves a wedge resection of segments 4B and 5 as well as a portal lymph node dissection. Things that I use for liver resections to minimize blood loss or a intravenous monitoring of CVP to keep the CVP below 3 with low volume resuscitation as well as a milrinone drip.
