Mr. Ganesh's right eye had poor vision since birth and his left eye developed an infection last year which caused a corneal scar in his right eye. Due to corneal opacity (scar), his vision has been impaired. In such cases, the cloudy cornea has to be replaced with a donated cornea (received from a donor's eye). He recently underwent a Full Thickness Corneal Transplant and regained his vision in his left eye.
