Developed ataxia and swaying while trying to walk and would fall while sitting. MRI showed hydrocephalus and large CP angle arachnoid cyst. Right retromastoid mini-craniotomy and endoscopic fenestration of the cyst was done in ambient and lateral cerebellomedullary cisterns. The linear dural opening enabled watertight closure, and prevention of CSF leak. Pure endoscopic approach is an effective and less invasive procedure for cyst fenestration. |
