| Video Discription | VIdeo show a eletive cholecystectomy of a 37 years old woman, complaining of upper right abdominal pain for more than a year. USG showed multiple gallstones, all blood tests were normal. During the surgery, all the dissection of the gallbladder was performed with monopolar hook (set at 40w cut, blend 2 + 30w coagulatio - only coagulation were used), the artery, after dissected, was cauterized with the hook. After a clear view of the cystic duct, it was ligated with intracorporeal knots of vycril 0 and cutted. The gallbladder were extracted on a hand-made endobag. No considerable blood loss were observed. Patient discharged next day from the surgery, with oral analgesics (dipirona) and no antibiotics |
