| Video Discription | In patients with prior failed pyeloplasties who also have foreshortened ureters, primary dismembered salvage techniques of repair are often complex and very difficult. Herein we present video of two useful salvage techniques performed in a minimally-invasive fashion - a robotic-assisted laparoscopic (RAL) flap pyeloplasty in a patient with a large extrarenal pelvis, and a combination laparoscopic and RAL ureterocalycostomy in a patient without much extrarenal pelvis. Both options are viable and effective and thus can be suited to a patient's given anatomy. |
