| Video Discription | As I explain in the video, this patient had significant asymmetry of her breast shape. The right breast was noticeably lower and looser than the left. The patient wanted to achieve better symmetry. She was happy with the size of her breasts and did not want an implant. Thus, I performed a breast lift only. What is unique in this case, is that she needed different types of lifts on each side. The right breast needed a "Full" lift. This means there is an incision around the areola, down the lower half of her breast and another one across the crease. The left breast needed a "circumareolar" lift only. This is also referred to as a "donut" lift. This type of lift creates one scar around the areola. As you can see in the "After" picture, the symmetry is significantly improved. Although the scars are very noticeable now, especially in the right breast, these scars will eventually heal and fade and turn into very fine lines which will become barely visible.
