| Video Discription | Hello friends, This is yet another interesting but long video of a case of Severe endometriosis causing hydroureter and hydronephrosis. This is a case of nulligravida who had undergone laparoscopy twice for endometriosis management, and laparotomy for to abscess with partial removal of left ovary and then procedure was abandoned 2 months back. Patient now presented with constant pelvic and left flank pain. On ultrasound and on MRI she has left hydroureter and moderate hydronephrosis and bilateral endometrioma. patient wanted to preserve her fertility and hence we did fertility preserving surgery. We removed extensive fibrosis in lateral pelvic wall around ureter and backpressure on kidneys were relieved. Tip: 1. Have lots of patience while operating on ureter. 2. be ready for cannulation of ureter or to perform ureteric reimplantation in bladder. 3.
