| Video Discription | At Precision Urology Hospital, we prefer laparoscopic approach(LRC) for radical cystectomy(RC). It offsets the capitol cost and overall cost of Robotic assisted RC(RARC). There is oncological equivalence of RC between the approaches chosen. It has superiority in terms of blood loss, transfusion rates, wound complications over Open RC. We prefer extra corporeal(EC) diversions as it is easy, incurs lesser financial burden of staplers to patients and is cosmetically appealing as EC diversions are practically possible from pffannensteil incisions. |
