| Video Discription | Happy 2018 everyone! Starting off this year with a simple procedure performed right here in our office - Earlobe Repair! Our patient contacted us and Dr. Ruff in hopes of fixing her stretched earlobe, caused by wearing a very heavy earring. The weight of the earring enlarged the piercing opening as well, which would "fold" onto itself when patient wasn't wearing any jewelry. Dr. Ruff reconstructed her earlobe by carefully excising piece of the stretched tissue and then suturing back the sides together. She will be able to re-pierce her earlobe in about 6 weeks.
