On endoscopic examination there was left TM perforation. After discussion of prons and cons consensus was developed to do Lt ear Tympanoplasty. Following established aseptic otological protocol endaural approach was adopted. Temporalis Fascia and tragal cartilage were harvested. Margins of perforation were freshened. Underlay technique was adopted. Canal was filled with gelfaon and polyfax pack for 20 days. Pt was instructed regarding post op care and follow up visit. |
