| Video Discription | A 35-year-old male patient presented with complaints of headache, numbness and sudden radiating pain in the right half of the face. He has been followed up for epidermoid tumor in the right cerebellopontine region since 2016. He was referred to us when his complaints of facial pain and numbness increased recently. In his neurological examination, he had hypoesthesia in the right maxillary area, right masseter muscle atrophy, and grade 1 facial paresis. The patient was neuromonitored and operated with the right retrosigmoid approach. The epidermoid tumor, which was embedded in the pons and filled the right cerebellopontine angle and it was totally excised. There was no additional post-operative neurologic deficit in the patient. He was discharged on the 5th day of his surgery. 35 yaşında erkek hasta, başağrısı, sağ yüz yarısında uyuşukluk ve sağ yüz yarısına ani yayılan ağrı şikayetleri ile başvurdu. 2016 yılından bu yana sağ köşe bölgesinde epidermoid tümör nedeni ile takip edilmiş. Son dönemde yüz ağrısı ve hissizlik yakınmaları artınca tarafımıza yönlendirilmiş. Nörolojik muayenesinde özellikle sağ maksiller alana uyan hipoestezi, sağ masseter adele atrofisi ve grade 1 fasiyel parezisi vardı. Hasta nöromonitörize edilerek sağ retrosigmoid yaklaşım ile opere edildi. Pons içine yuvalanmış, sağ köşe bölgesini doldurmuş epidermoid tümör total olarak çıkartıldı. Hastada post operatif ilave nörolojik defisit olmadı. Ameliyatının 5. günü taburcu edildi. Prof Dr Selçuk YILMAZLAR |
