| Video Discription | 82-year-old male with hypertension, dyslipidemia, bilateral worsening claudication (right great than left) x 1 year, ABI – Right (0.70), Left (0.83) and arterial duplex: low velocity, monophasic flow in right CFA. No significant SFA disease. Area of ‘increased velocity in right mid-popliteal artery.’ Left leg – occlusion of popliteal artery. Angiogram was done at an outside institution, which showed occlusion of the right external iliac, just above the common femoral origin. We were able to go up and over with the 7 French sheath. Used internal iliac as an anchor and transferred the 7 French sheath into the level of the common iliac. Then under fluoroscopic guidance, we stuck common femoral artery distally and were able to put short Terumo sheath in. |
