| Video Discription | Patients with Cirrhosis of Liver and Portal Hypertension frequently develop Oesophageal and / or Gastric Varices. Sometimes Patient with Portal Hypertension develops Duodenal Varices also. These Varices can rupture any time leading to profuse GI Bleeding, presenting as Vomiting of Blood or Bloody Diarrhoea. Varices are now treated with Endoscopy in majority of cases. Herewith presenting a case of Duodenal and Gastric Varices due to Portal Hypertension causing severe GI Bleeding and Drop in Haemoglobin.
