| Video Discription | We have been carefully controlling the environment in the drying tent and making proper use of all the equipment we have to dry with! To enable a slow drying time over the last 7 days! I normally try to dry my flowers over a 7 to 12 day period if I can! Keeping the humidity levels, while using air exchange, fans, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, etc along the way! Trying to keep the level in the tent high enough to allow the buds and cola's to dry slowly, but not high enough to promote any molds or fungi to happen! Slowly drying allows for the proper amount of time to take place, for the chlorophyll to break down and the rest of the reactions in the buds to start taking place! If you dry to fast you will stop the buds from being able to break down chlorophyll and start the other reactions that are needed to bring out the terpene profile, taste, smell and that happen to make for a smoother smoke while inhaling! This process starts in the drying and continues into the curing process! It takes time! Do not rush what needs to happen, or your just ruining all the buds you just gave all your time and money to, in getting it this far! Duane. |
