| Video Discription | Lap IPOM hernioplasty is the most commonly performed surgery for ventral hernia. This commonly includes primary hernias such as paraumbilical hernias or incisional hernias. Here , a patient presented with a paraumbilical swelling and was diagnosed to have a paraumbilical hernia defect size 3 x 2. 5 cm with omentum as contents. He underwent a laparoscopic surgery and a composite mesh was placed to cover the defect. The patient was discharged the next day following surgery. Hope you like the video |
