For the past 17 years, David has been writing a weekly column in the Journal that earned him the “Best Columnist” award by the L.A. Press Club and first prize for Editorial writing by the American Jewish Press Association. Prior to journalism, David was founder and CEO of Suissa Miller Advertising, a marketing firm that was named Agency of the Year by USA Today. In 2005, he sold the company so he could dedicate himself full-time to the Jewish world. David was born in Morocco and grew up in Montreal, where he graduated from McGill University in 1978.
