This technique avoids the risk of "amputation" of the labia which is painful. We got that inside. We took off labia from the right and left side. We took out a triangle, or wedge sewed it together so the outside facing the labia majora, which by the way looks much bigger than it did before. Then we sewed the middle part. Then we sewed the inside on each side. So we've got literally sutures on the outside facing the labia majora, in the middle holding things together well and facing the vagina. We have taken a small bit of clitoral hood out so there's a little bit more exposure and therefore a little more exposure to friction. She had on either side of her labia minora a piece of tissue that had a negative meaning for her, so those went as well. And now when this heals, she'll have a slightly smaller introitus which will stretch out with time. We had a clitoral hood which we're gonna be doing a little hood resection on. We have the labia minora here and we're gonna be taking this piece out and this piece out, leaving plenty on this side. We're taking this piece out and this piece out, once again, leaving plenty and yet at the same time, getting rid of these things that are hanging out. This is the urethra covered by a little piece of tissue right here. Like a trap door. That's actually a piece of remnant of the hymenal ring and the vagina is down here and the clitoris is up there. And we're going to draw a triangle. We're going to, this line. Now from here to here we're going down to this point here, right there. Going up to here and then we're gonna go up to here. From here to here and from here to here. Cut. The other value in sewing this up is it decreases the chance of a hematoma we're limiting the space that a hematoma might go in. So what we've done here is we have kept the hood of the clitoris right here. Clitoris being underneath up there. I kept the hood tight. The labia minora here connected to this labia minora here, connected to this. That leaves the two, We got rid of the two little areas on the side. |
