| Video Discription | Brief demonstration of the LiVac Laparoscopic Liver retractor as used on the right lobe of liver for cholecystectomy. This video was taken during the First In Human LiVac Trial from 2013. There is a LiVac Accessory that allows the suction tubing to pass alongside the Hasson port without losing pneumoperitoneum, or it can be used with Single port laparoscopic cholecystectomy, by passing the tubing through the port. The LiVac Retractor can also be used on the left lobe of liver, as an alternative to the Nathanson Retractor. The suction tubing passes out through the same wound as the main port (e.g. alongside an Optical port or with the Hasson accessory).
