The patients may present at a later stage in life with spontaneous onset CSF leak. The repair in this region is tedious and cumbersome. Transnasal Endoscopic Approach is the best and the least morbid method to achieve closure. As these are generally high pressure leaks, we prefer to put a preop lumbar drain, which acts as a divergence pathway for the fluid and helps in the repair to heal well. |
