Come hang out on Discord: https://discord.gg/tcknB9E4zS Livestreams on Twitch every Mon/Wed/Sat @ 1pm ET: https://www.twitch.tv/budbosstv Stay up! -Bud --- *🔧 Build Quality & Design* - Good size and form factor, feels good in the hand. - Nice weight and finish. - Simple controls: one power button, plus/minus for temp adjustment. - Display shows set temp, current temp, battery level and shutoff timer. - Solid battery life (5+ six-minute sessions per charge). - Removable 18650 battery. *🚫 Problem with the Stock Mouthpiece* - Comes with a straight stem mouthpiece directly above the oven. - The cooling spikes really don't do much to cool down the vapor. - Vapor is kinda harsh and nearly intolerable, even at lower temps. - Not enjoyable for extended use out of the box. - As a "portable" vape, it's misleading if you can't use stock MP. *🔁 Aftermarket Stem Fix* - Got a stainless steel cooling stem from MMS Metalworks. - Vastly improves vapor smoothness and comfort. - Simrell Vortex stem also fits with silicone sleeve & thread protector. - These solutions are unfortunately not cheap. - An inexpensive bent glass stem will also help a lot. *🔥 Performance* - Best results for me at *356°F / 180°C*, anything higher is not very enjoyable. - Takes a few draws to get going, but decent vapor and flavor early on. - Flavor noticeably drops off in the second half of the bowl. - High temps = faster vapor but harsher and worse-tasting. - Good extraction overall — strong effects, just not smooth. *🤔 Final Thoughts* - Out of the box? Not a great portable vape. - Only becomes enjoyable with aftermarket stems or glass. - Wouldn't be my first choice for on-the-go use, even with mods. - If you have one please feel free to share your experiences. |
