| Video Discription | Endoscopic Ear Surgery Series- 4 Endoscopic Type 3 Tympanoplasty or Ossiculoplasty with PORP with Lateralisation of Handle of Malleus (For Feedback, Quieres and Discussion Contact via Whatsapp to 9060522539) *42year old Male patient presented with history of Right sided ear discharge from past 12 years with reduced hearing and on examination found to have a Subtotal perforation *Patient was diagnosed to have Right sided CSOM(Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media) with moderately severe conductive hearing loss and was adviced Tympanoplasty *Patient wanted minimal scar surgery with speedy recovery *Temporalis fascia graft was harvested with micro incision of 1.5cm post aurally near to the hairline for minimal scar *Intraoperatively Incus was eroded hence Teflon PORP (Partial Ossicular Replacement Prosthesis) was placed over intact Stapes suprastructure and reinforced with Septal cartilage to prevent extrusion *Endoscopic Type 3 Tympanoplasty or Ossiculoplasty with PORP was done which included Lateralisation of Handle of malleus with doublebreasting of graft (Single handed approach without Endoscopic holder) using routine ear instruments *Post operatively on Day 2 patient resumed day to day work and on regular follow up with Improved Hearing *Steps of Surgery are Highlighted |
