| Video Discription | Here we present a case of an anterior clinoid meningioma that was successfully removed applying skull base surgery techniques. A fronto-temporal craniotomy with extradural anterior clinoidectomy and middle fossa approach were performed to remove this meningioma without any need for brain or optic nerve manipulation. The dural opening was tailored to the tumor location to minimize intradural exposure and limit the approach to the skull base. Complete tumor resection including involved dura was achieved. Reconstruction was easily performed with onlay collagen and abdominal fat grafts. Patient had an excellent outcome with normalized vision and cognition and no complications. |
