The ARVUS technique yielded better urinary continence results than standard technique and significantly improved the quality of life of patients after RP. The reconstruction of vesicourethral support (ARVUS), the fibres of the levator ani muscle, Denonvilliers fascia, retrotrigonal layer, and median dorsal raphe were used to form the dorsal support for the urethrovesical anastomosis.
