| Video Discription | - Sharing herewith a video of robotic TAPP Inguinal hernia repair in a high-risk patient, who was very insistent on robotic surgery for his repair. - The video shows the complete procedure at 2x speed. I added minimal editing for instrument changes, mesh & suture placement, and camera switch from 30 down to up. - Our console time for the case was 26 minutes, with total operative time of 40 minutes. - The case was done at low pneumo pressures of around 10-11 mm Hg. - We used an extra-large (17×12 cm) 3D anatomical mesh after adequate dissection. - Routinely we use sutures to fix the mesh, however in the interest of time, we used a tacker to fix the mesh to Cooper's ligament. - The patient did extremely well postoperatively and was discharged the next day (around 16 hours hospital stay) ------------------------------------------ About Dr. Aditya A.
