Ya da obliteratif cerrahi yapılarak vajen tamamen kapatılır. Obliteratif cerrahi daha çok 80 yaş üstü ve cinsel aktif olmayan hastalarda tercih ediliri. Ayrıca hasta cerrahş komplikasyonları kaldıramayacak kadar ağır bazı sistemik hastalıklara sahipse (kalp hastalığı, solunum sistemi hastalığı vb), bu gruptada obliteratif cerrahi önerilebilir. Obliteratif cerrahi eğer uterus varsa adı Lefort yoksa Kolpoklezis olarak adlandırılır. LeFort operasyonu teknik olarak vajen ön ve arka duvarlarının orta hatta karşılıklı birleştirilmesidir. Bu operasyonda vajen yan duvarda yaklaşık 1 cmlik longutudinal vajen dokusu bırakılır. Amaç postmenopozal kanama gibi bir durum söz konusu olursa direnaja imkan tanır.
