| Video Discription | History: A case of 50-year-old female patient with history of obstructed defecation symptoms . and impacted giant fecaloma evacuated one week before surgery under general anesthesia Investigations: 1- Defecography revealed large rectocele 8cm, internal intussusception, and impacted giant fecaloma . 2- Colon Transit time showed accumulation of markers at the lower rectum after five days. 3- Procedure: laparoscopic ventral mesh rectopexy with mesh fixed by ethibond stitches into the rectal wall distally and sacral promontory proximally. Outcomes: An uneventful postoperative course. patient started clear fluid intake in the same operative day. then, started semisolid food in the third postoperative day and was discharged in the second postoperative day. |
