| Video Discription | Technique of using a 25-29mm non-metal probe to identify endometriosis lesions in the lower colon and facilitate the excision of these nodules. Pulling the bowel over the probe allows an evaluation of the rectum sigmoid colon up to 25-35 cm. Nodules as small as a couple mm can be seen once the bowel wall is stretched over the probe. The bowel was repaired with a two layer, water-tight closure after the excision. |
