| Video Discription | Routine sigmoid colectomy for diverticulitis. GYN procedure done at the same time. Air noted in retroperitoneum during leak test. Concern was rectal tear from specimen extraction or stapler placement. This was not seen. It was assumed to have come from gas entering retroperitoneum from the GYN procedure. Pt did great, home in 72hrs and no repercussions. |
