And, it was national walking day on April 4th. Shawnee Mission Medical Center associates laced up their sneakers and walked in partnership with the American Heart Association. Plus, the joint commission made their annual surprise visit early April. It is a not-for-profit organization that assess hospitals and other health care organizations for quality standards.
