| Video Discription | This is great video summarizing our current techniques in pituitary surgery, courtesy of our research fellow Dr Marina Cavada. The approach is very conservative of nasal tissue, preservation of the 'olfactory strip' and to ensure that retronasal smell is not affected by surgery (and thus flavour of food). The modifed flap is very small and covers the area of bone that needs to be resected.
