| Video Discription | An unusual case of Hydrocele of the Fundal Fibroid of the Uterus. I have seen various types of degenerative changes in the fibroid uterus. i.e. cystic, hydronic, fatty, calcified, and sarcomatous changes but not the above type. In general, l have seen Haemato, Lochia, Pyo, and Hydometra in the uterus. Senior Specialist Dr. Chandrakala of DISTRICT HOSPITAL MYSORE called me to handle the case and help them since her CA-125 reading was on the higher side at 81 U/ml and the pap smear was normal. An exploratory laparotomy was planned. Laparotomy was done with a vertical incision mass of 10 “- 10 “ with a thin wall without rupturing. See the hydrocele of the fundal Fibroid of the normal-sized uterus with both tubes and ovaries being normal with follicular cysts and it helps to identify them during radiological investigations. The thin wall cyst was accidentally ruptured sometimes after the delivery. The fluid was stra coloured and the wall was thin. No papillary growth was found anywhere within it. The specimen after the rupture of the cyst is shown in the video. CT and USG reports are also included in the video. The cut section of the specimen showing the thin cyst wall, and fundal fibroid demarking from the uterus with the normal uterine cavity without any abnormalities can also be observed.
