The advantages of a keyhole approach are lesser patient morbidity and early discharge from the hospital. The incision is given at the eyebrow lateral to the supraorbital nerve, taking care not to injure the same. The exposure thus provided does not in any way compromises the access to the tumor. A high magnification afforded by the microscope or an endoscope along with meticulous microneurosurgical skills achieves the tumor excision with minimal patient morbidity. Thanks |
