| Video Discription | Video shows a gold standard laparoscopic cholecystectomy of a 65 years old woman, with gallbladder stones. Only 5mm working trocars were used (+10mm optical trocar on umbilicus). After careful dissection, the cystic artery were identified and coagulated with monopolar hook and the cystic duct ligated with vicryl zero intracorporeal knots. The duct were cutted, and a small bleeding was observed on the sectioned duct wall, that was coagulated with left hand auxiliary instrument, with good hemostasis, away from main bile duct. Gallbladder were extracted with handmade endobag after the extraction of the trocars trhough the 10mm umbilical trocar. |
