On otoendoscopy there was medium sized perforation on both sides and PTA showed moderate degree Conductive hearing loss on both sides. Rest of ENT was unremarkable Plan: Rt Modified Butterfly Tympanoplasty *Procedure* : After adequate patient counseling following established aseptic otologic protocol Trans-meatal Approach was adopted. Perforation margins were freshened.Tragal cartilage was fashioned in modified butterfly manner and transposed into the perforation.Canal was filled with gelfoam and polyfax pack. Post op care and medication advised. |
